Prokaryotic messenger-enriched metatranscriptomes from cloud water. CLOUD mRNA-PROK

Investigation of the cloud water microbial communities of a cloud event through metagenomics/metatranscriptomics. Cloud water samples were collected by impaction from puy de Dôme Mountain atmospheric Observatory (1465 m asl, France) and immediately filtered and stored in RNA Later. RNA were extracted and prokaryotic mRNAs were enriched (rRNA depletion). The Blank sample consisted in sterile water poored in the sampler before sampling, and processed in parallel to the samples, including sequencing. Sequencing was done on Illumina MiSeq 2*300bp.
