This series consists of a single volume that records official calls and interviews conducted at Government House, Sydney, during the governorships of Lord Wakehurst (Governor, 8 April 1937 to 5 June 1945) and Sir Frederick Jordan (Governor, 6 June 1945 to 31 August 1946).Each entry records the name or job title of the person visiting, along with the office or organisation they were representing. Also recorded are the date of the visit, whether the visit was returned, and any remarks. From 1940 the remarks column was used to record the visitor's official title and/or the body they represented. The visit returned column ceases from August 1942.
