Taxidermists Julius Friesser and Frank Wonder skin and prepare plaster cast of elephant seal on the beach of Guadalupe Island, Baja California, Mexico, 1933 June, for creation of seal habitat group for Field Museum, Chicago, Illinois, USA. Members of the crew of Velero III assist in raising tent, transporting seals bones back to the ship, and loading a live elephant seal specimen on the ship. Oarsman Kalle “Karl” Hallikainen is one of the crewmen. “Skinning elephant seals” – container. 16 frames per second.
