Transcriptional profiling of wounds in WT mice and Cthrc1-/- mice

Collagen triple helix repeat containing 1 (CTHRC1) has been reported to be associated with tissue repair in response to injury. To investigate the role of CTHRC1 in the skin wound repair, we used next-generation sequencing (NGS) to clarify the changes of transcriptome in the mice skin wounds after Cthrc1 deletion. Overall design: Using NGS, we explored the differences in gene expression in dermal tissues of wild type (WT) and Cthrc1-/- murine model of paired equivalent-sized wounds. Samples were examined at day 0 and day 7, and represented by 3 biological replicates.
