The Remote Sensing Monitoring Case Dataset of Geological Disasters covers data from more than ten typical remote sensing monitoring cases of geological disasters across China from 2010 to 2023, along with information including the scope of geological disasters and the damage degree of disaster-bearing bodies. The core subjects of this dataset are the scale of geological disasters and their impacts on the surrounding environment. Remote sensing data serves as the primary information source for geological disaster monitoring and analysis, adopting deep learning-based geological disaster extraction technologies and supplemented by an analytical method combining human-computer interactive interpretation to extract the types, scope, surrounding changed areas and their attribute information of geological disasters. This dataset comprehensively presents information such as the locations, types, impact scopes and distribution of disaster-bearing bodies of major geological disasters in China in recent years. It analyzes the impacts of geological disasters on human production, daily lives and the natural environment, providing references for geological disaster assessment and post-disaster recovery and reconstruction. Additionally, it facilitates research on the occurrence mechanisms, development laws and influencing factors of geological disasters, and provides scientific basis for geological disaster early warning, emergency management of geological disasters and the formulation of disaster prevention and mitigation policies.
