Digital Archive from an Archaeological Evaluation at Shorts Park, Shortstown, Bedfordshire, August to September 2021

This collection consists of site images, reports, and a CAD vector drawing from an archaeological evaluation at Shorts Park, Shortstown, Bedfordshire. The evaluation was conducted by Albion Archaeology between August and September 2021. The evaluation identified a late Bronze Age to Iron Age settlement adjacent to the southern limit of the Site. The late Bronze Age to Iron Age settlement focus was characterised by at least one circular ditched enclosure with an entrance to the north-east. Internal features comprised ditches along with a storage pit, a refuse pit and a pit containing a deliberately deposited pottery vessel. A potential second enclosure was identified to the east.
