Landing Zones

Boulder County Sheriff's Office Communications/911 and BCSO Emergency Services staff collaborated with Boulder County stakeholders during 2022-2023 to gather data from authoritative local sources for pre-identified Boulder County Landing Zones, along with standard information about each LZ. Stakeholders included Boulder County Firefighters Association, BCSO Emergency Services, Rocky Mountain Rescue, BOCO Parks and Open Space, City of Boulder Open Space Mountain Parks, and BCSO Communications/911. Agencies were surveyed using ArcGIS Survey123 via email communicated links and directions.
