Macrophyte Biodiversity

Goals of this baseline study were to describe biodiversity and target species (abundance, size) in two estuaries from the northern bioregion and two from the southern bioregion of the North Coast MPA Region. Macrophytes, invertebrates and fish were enumerated from two sites within each estuary on June 2014, January 2015, June 2015, January 2016 and June 2016. This Macrophyte Biodiversity package contains the raw % cover data for general cover classes and macrophyte species. There are also two ordination tables: one set up with grouping variables for spatially comparing macrophyte communities among sites and estuaries, and the second for comparing the three summers of the study.
