Gene database of Fusobacterium nucleatum NCTC10562

<i>Fusobacterium nucleatum</i> is an oral bacterium that partakes in periodontal disease. This arises from its ability to coaggregate with other bacterial species in the oral cavity in periodontal plaque. Many aspects of the pathogenicity of <i>F. nucleatum</i> remains to be elucidated. This work sought to provide basic information of this bacterium with annotated genome sequence downloaded from Genbank. Comprising gene name, gene function, and gene sequence of all genes in the genome of the bacterium, the database should find use in molecular cloning workflow for <i>in vitro</i> reconstitution of particular pathogenic pathway or generation of loss of function mutants useful for understanding function of genes in pathogenesis of the oral cavity.
