These volumes document the, A, B and C watch, reporting of the Night Senior watch persons. Formerly known as the Senior Warder. The record documents the officer on Sentry posting.  The record then documents in minute time intervals on actions and events reported. There appears to be the use of red pen to indicate an incident or issue to be attended to.  The journal is handwritten dated and signed.  When an inmates is identified a number & surname is referred to.
