This dataset contains surface longwave cloud radiative effect (LWCRE) estimated from cloud properties derived from the CALIPSO-GOCCP space lidar product along orbit track. Here we provide all CALIPSO orbits collected between 2008–2020 time period in netcdf files. This file contains also the five CALIPSO-GOCCP cloud properties used in the retrieval: opaque cloud cover and altitude, and thin cloud cover, altitude, and emissivity.
