Name of file collection:   CollectionProbability&HazardMapsforSVLahars.tar.gz   It contains an archive of probability maps generated in the paper Sandri et al (2024) Solid Earth https://doi.org/10.5194/se-15-459-2024   The files contained in the archive are in ascii raster grid format, of two different types:   Type 1); file names are of the form Prob_T*m_P**kPa.asc   These files contain probability values of exceeding simultaneously a threshold value in flow thickness (first value in file name, between letters “T” and “m”, where the flow thickness is given in meters) and one in dynamic pressure (second value in file name, between “P” and “kPa”, where dynamic pressure is given in kPa) during the lahar flow, conditional to the occurrence of at least one lahar from a reference-size eruption at Somma-Vesuvius. For example, the file Prob_T0.5m_P1kPa.asc contains the probability values of simultaneously exceeding a flow thickness of 0.5m and dynamic pressure of 1kPa, that are mapped in Figure 9 panel l of the paper Sandri et al (2024) Solid Earth https://doi.org/10.5194/se-15-459-2024.   2) Prob_Tmax*m.asc   These files contain probability values of exceeding a threshold value in maximum flow thickness (value in file name, between “Tmax” and “m”, where the maximum flow thickness is given in meters) during the lahar flow, conditional to the occurrence of at least one lahar from a reference-size eruption at Somma-Vesuvius. For example, the file Prob_Tmax1m.asc contains the probability values of exceeding 1 m of maximum flow thickness, that are mapped in Figure 7 panel l of the paper Sandri et al (2024) Solid Earth https://doi.org/10.5194/se-15-459-2024.   2) Hazard_T_Pexc*.asc   These files contain the values of MAX FLOW THICKNESS (in m) having an exceedance probability value specified in the file name, between “Pexc” and “.asc”, during the lahar flow, conditional to the occurrence of at least one lahar from a reference-size eruption at Somma-Vesuvius. For example, the file Hazard_T_Pexc0.05.asc contains the Max Flow Thickness values in m with an exceedance conditional probability on 5%, that are mapped in Figure 6 panel l of the paper Sandri et al (2024) Solid Earth https://doi.org/10.5194/se-15-459-2024.
