ICSSR Data Service: Social Science Data Repository

The ICSSR Data Service was created through an agreement between the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation (MoSPI). It serves as a social science data repository, hosting NSS and ASI datasets as well as research data from institutes, NGOs, and individuals. The repository includes national-level surveys on topics such as employment, health care, tourism, and household expenditure. Its goal is to enable sharing, preservation, and reuse of social science data in India and beyond.

ICSSR数据服务（ICSSR Data Service）由印度社会科学研究理事会（Indian Council of Social Science Research, ICSSR）与统计与项目实施部（Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation, MoSPI）通过合作协议设立。该服务作为社会科学数据仓储，收录国家抽样调查（National Sample Survey, NSS）、年度工业调查（Annual Survey of Industries, ASI）数据集，以及来自科研院所、非政府组织（Non-Governmental Organizations, NGOs）与个人的研究数据。该仓储收录覆盖就业、医疗、旅游及家庭支出等主题的国家级调查数据，其宗旨为助力印度乃至全球范围内社会科学数据的共享、保存与复用。
