This submission contains raw reads from 16S rRNA gene sequencing performed on sediment samples collected from Lake Cadagno, a meromictic lake characterized by sulfidic and anoxic sediments. The samples were extracted from sediment core depths ranging from 3 cm to 738 cm during a sampling campaign in 2019. The sediment samples were sequenced using primer pairs 515F and 926, following the methodology of Fuhrman and Parada (2016).
