VPRS 19779 Hazelwood Power Station Plant Manuals

This series comprises manuals containing training and basic technical reference materials pertaining to the Hazelwood Power Station (VA 4078). The manuals also include technical data, descriptive text of plant functions and reference drawings. Also included is a document comprising defunct information deleted from the manuals. The manuals were originally produced by Generation Branch, a section of the State Electricity Commission Victoria (SECV) (VA 1002), in collaboration with other branches of the SECV. They were produced at intervals of about two years, which was the frequency of the commissioning dates of new stages of the power station. The manuals were updated by Hazelwood Power in 2000. Prior to transfer to PROV the records were held by ENGIE Hazelwood, the majority owner of the power station at the time of its closure in 2017. Since privatisation, Hazelwood Power has gone through many iterations, eventually becoming ENGIE Hazelwood in 2015.
