Immunofluorescence imaging of human Solute Carrier (SLC) overexpression cell lines.

Immunofluorescence images from 640 Jump-In T-REx HEK293 cell lines (RRID:CVCL_YL74), each containing an inducible Strep-HA tagged, codon-optimized SLC gene. Transgene expression was induced via doxycycline treatment. The overall signal of SLC-HA channel as well as its distribution within the cells provides insights on the success of overexpressing the targeted SLC. Using various markers, a detection of an overlap or similarity of patterns between SLC-HA signal and any of the stained cellular compartments provides insights on the subcellular localization of the overexpressed target protein.
