资源简介:
The primary objective of these surveys was to capture the complete lichen and bryophyte flora of the Yeon property with focus on the remnant prairies and the salix swamp and report on any rare species observed or collected. The 106-acre Yeon Unit of Lewis and Clark National Historic Park lies along the immediate coast eight miles north of Seaside, Oregon. The property consists of stabilized dune and interdunal wetlands covered in pine forest, and dominated by non-native vegetation such as Scotch broom and beach grass. There are also native plant communities present with forest species such as evergreen huckleberry, salal and western sword fern. Native trees that dominate the wetland areas include crab apple, red alder and Hooker’s willow.
