Tissue-specific microbiomes of deep-sea shrimps from Ulleungdo and Dokdo

This project investigates the tissue-specific microbiomes (gut, gill, and exoskeleton) of three deep-sea shrimp species (Pandalopsis japonica, Pandalus hypsinotus, Lebbeus groenlandicus) collected from Ulleungdo and Dokdo, Korea. Using long-read amplicon sequencing of the 16S-ITS-23S rRNA region, this study provides resources to explore host-driven simplification and tissue compartmentalization of microbiomes in deep-sea environments.
