资源简介:
Green Revolution technology have been proved as a double edge sword for the Indian agriculture system as well as to the entire globe. Though, it intensified the Indian agriculture from food scarce to food surplus country, on other hand it has thrown several challenges in form of declining factor productivity, depleting natural resources, low water and nutrient, adverse impact on climate change as well as on human health. Overuse of chemical fertilizers depletes soil nutrients, in turn reducing the yield of cultivated land. In past, several management practices in form of application of biofertilizers / biocontrol agents, use of composts such as vermicompost, FYM etc., have been aimed to mitigate the negative impact of chemical fertilizers and pesticides on agriculture as well as ecosystem. TO mitigate the negative effect of chemical based fertilizers, we adopted the zero budget natural farming system using Jeevamrit- a bioformulation made of cow dung, and urine. After application of Jeeamirt, it was observed that the physical as well as microbial properties of the soil was improved. After Jeevamrit application, sample collected for metagenomic analysis also.
