A Partnership approach for controlling nonindigenous aquatic nuisance species in the Great Lakes

This grant lends support to the operation of the Great Lakes Panel convened under P.L. 101-646 to address problems caused by the zebra mussel and other aquatic nuisance species in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence system. Specifically, this project will assist in implementing information/education and outreach activities of the Panel's Information/Education (I/E) Committee. Great Lakes Panel activities discussed below contribute to the advancement of a coordinated information and education (I/E) program on ANS prevention and control in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence region.
