The Advanced Dental Technicians Qualifications Board was responsible for supervising the conduct and practice of dental mechanics by advanced dental technicians. The Board was empowered to keep a register - the Advanced Dental Technicians Register, to make alterations to the roll where necessary, to grant licences to appropriately-qualified advanced dental technicians and to cancel or suspend licences when necessary, and to collect licence fees.The Board consisted of seven members, each from a different professional body. The final meeting of the Board was held on 28/06/2000. The Dental Practice Act 1999 provided for a single regulatory body, the Dental Practice Board of Victoria, to replace the existing Dental Board, Advanced Dental Technicians Qualifications Board and Dental Technicians Licensing Committee.These records include:- One volume of board minutes.
