资源简介:
Sex differences in asthma severity suggest that estrogen signaling plays a key regulatory role in airway inflammation and remodeling, yet the specific contribution of estrogen receptors (ERa and ERÃ) remains poorly defined. Here, we investigated how ERa and ERÃ shapes physiological, structural, and immunological responses to chronic allergen exposure by examining wild-type (WT), ERa knockout (Esr1?/?) and ERÃ knockout (Esr2?/?) male and female mice subjected to 5-weeks of house dust mite (HDM) challenge. Overall design: RNAseq profiling of whole lung tissue from WT, Esr1 knockout and Esr2 knockout mice exposed to house dust mites or PBS for 5 weeks
