The Google Street View Dataset contains 62,058 high-quality Google Street View images. These images cover downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and its adjacent areas, Orlando, Florida, as well as part of Manhattan, New York City. Precise GPS coordinates and compass directions for each image are also provided. For each street view landmark (i.e., each point along a street), the 360° spherical view is split into 4 side views and 1 upward view. Each placemark includes an additional image displaying overlay markers such as addresses, street names, and other relevant information. The upper figure presents example street view images from eight landmarks in this dataset. The right figure displays 16 example images uploaded by users, which were used as query images in the relevant research paper.
