The deposited data are recording on the observed number of different mosquito penetrating different types of new nets (Safi Net; DawaPlus Net, Olyset Net, and PermaNet). The data also recorded the mosquito feeding success on the bednet occupant/sleeping volunteer, and its survival as results on insecticides on the net 24 to 48 hours post monitoring. The observation was conducted under the semi-field settings using two species of mosquitoes Anopheles arabiensis (the laboratory reared strain) and Anopheles funestus (F1 of the fresh field collected mosquitoes). All data were analysed in R v3.1-131.
本存档数据集记录了不同蚊虫穿透各类新型蚊帐的观测数量,涉及的蚊帐类型包括Safi Net、DawaPlus Net、Olyset Net与PermaNet。该数据集同时记录了蚊虫在蚊帐使用者或睡眠志愿者身上的吸血成功率,以及监测后24至48小时内,蚊帐上杀虫剂作用对蚊虫存活情况的影响。本次观测在半野外(semi-field)环境中开展,供试蚊虫分为两个种类:实验室饲养的阿拉伯按蚊(Anopheles arabiensis)品系,以及野外新鲜采集蚊虫的F1代弗氏按蚊(Anopheles funestus)。所有数据均通过R v3.1-131统计软件完成分析。
