资源简介:
The zebra duiker (Cephalophus zebra) is a small antelope found primarily in Liberia, as well as the Ivory Coast, Sierra Leone, and occasionally Guinea. It is believed to be one of the earliest duiker species to have evolved (from Wikipedia entry). This cell sample from a female individual wild born in Liberia was provided by Cynthia Steiner and the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance's Frozen Zoo and coordinated by Beth Shapiro and Ben Lamm at Colossal Biosciences to generate a high-quality reference genome for the Vertebrate Genomes Project (VGP). Sequencing and genome assembly were conducted at the Vertebrate Genome Lab (VGL) at the Rockefeller University, led by Erich D. Jarvis, Giulio Formenti, and Jennifer Balacco.
