Comparative effects of vitamins on individuals with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): a network meta-analysis

The objectives of this network meta-analysis (NMA) are twofold: 1) to compare the effects of different vitamin therapies and identify the most effective option for enhancing lung function in COPD patients; and 2) to address gaps in the existing literature and provide high-quality evidence for clinical practice. The data shows "id","treatment","mean","sd" and "n". For continuous variables, we calculated the changes in means and standard deviations (SDs) from the original studies that reported pre- and post-intervention measurement values. In cases where data were presented in alternative formats, such as standard errors or interquartile ranges, we estimated the missing SDs utilizing available information from either the same study or other relevant studies within the network meta-analysis.

本项网络荟萃分析（network meta-analysis，NMA）具有双重研究目标：其一，对比不同维生素疗法的干预效果，筛选出可改善慢性阻塞性肺疾病（Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease，COPD）患者肺功能的最优方案；其二，弥补现有文献的研究空白，为临床实践提供高质量循证依据。本数据集包含"研究ID""干预措施""均值""标准差（standard deviation，SD）"与"样本量"四类字段。针对连续性变量，我们从报告了干预前后测量值的原始研究中，计算得到均值与标准差的变化量；若原始数据以标准误或四分位间距等其他形式呈现，则借助本次网络荟萃分析内同一研究或其他相关研究的可用信息，估算缺失的标准差。
