A single mano recovered from excavation of a burial during June, 1992, at
the Yarmony Pithouse site in Eagle County, Colorado was examined for pollen.
This mano was recovered just north of the skull in a burial. Pollen analysis was
conducted to determine what, if any, plants were ground using this mano.
1992年6月，在科罗拉多州伊格尔县亚莫尼树皮屋遗址（Yarmony Pithouse site）的一座墓葬发掘中出土的单件手磨棒（mano），接受了花粉分析检测。该手磨棒出土于墓葬内头骨北侧附近。本次花粉分析旨在明确该手磨棒曾被用于研磨的植物种类，若存在相关使用痕迹的话。
