This BioProject focuses on the genomic characterization and taxonomic description of Pantoea graminicola, a newly identified species in the genus Pantoea. The species was isolated from sweet corn (Zea mays) plants exhibiting bacterial leaf streak symptoms in Southern Florida, in 2024. The genomic sequencing and analysis of Pantoea graminicola were carried out to better understand its pathogenic potential, evolutionary relationships, and ecological dynamics.
