Soil erosion resistance influenced by two allelopathic tree species in Nanchang City

In this dataset, there are soil detachment rate data of 600 soil samples collected from 20 sites mainly located in the campus of Jiangxi University of Water Resources and Electric Power (in Nanchang City of China) and urban green spaces nearby. These data were collected to investigate whether two allelopathic tree species (Cinnamomum camphora and Osmanthus fragrans) would have significant impacts on the soil erosion resistance under their canopies. These data were obtained on a small-sized hydraulic flume. There are also site information including soil properties and above ground biomass of herbaceous plants.

本数据集包含600个土壤样本的土壤分离速率（soil detachment rate）数据，样本采自20个样点，主要分布于中国南昌市江西水利电力大学（Jiangxi University of Water Resources and Electric Power）校园及周边城市绿地。本数据集的采集旨在探究两种化感树种（allelopathic tree species）——樟树（Cinnamomum camphora）与桂花（Osmanthus fragrans）——是否会对其冠幅下的土壤抗侵蚀性产生显著影响。上述数据通过小型水力学水槽（small-sized hydraulic flume）获取。数据集同时包含样点相关信息，涵盖土壤性质与草本植物地上生物量。
