Temperature profile and water depth data collected from VICTORY and ELGAREN using BT and XBT casts in the Northeast and Southeast Atlantic Ocean from 17 October 1984 to 20 April 1985 (NODC Accession 8600275)

Temperature profile and water depth data were collected using BT and XBT casts from the VICTORY and ELGAREN in the Northeast / Southeast Atlantic Ocean. Data were collected from 17 October 1984 to 20 April 1985 by Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution with support from the Seasonal Response of the Equatorial Atlantic Experiment / Francais Ocean Et Climat Dans L'Atlantique Equatorial (SEQUAL/FOCAL) project.

本数据集依托VICTORY号与ELGAREN号科考船，在东北大西洋/东南大西洋海域通过BT（温深仪，Bathythermograph）和XBT（投弃式温深仪，Expendable Bathythermograph）的剖面投放观测，采集得到温度剖面与水深数据。数据采集时段为1984年10月17日至1985年4月20日，由伍兹霍尔海洋研究所（Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution）负责实施，并获得赤道大西洋季节响应实验/法国赤道大西洋海洋与气候计划（SEQUAL/FOCAL）的项目资助。
