Drugs and (Dis)order Interviews on Drug Economy from Nangarhar and Nimroz, Afghanistan, 2020.

Collection of interviews carried out as part of the GCRF Drugs and (dis)order project in the borderlands of Nangarhar and Nimroz, Afghanistan (grant ES/P011543/1). The purpose of the interviews was to investigate the governance context of the drug economy in border districts in Nangarhar and Nimroz provinces, Afghanistan. This includes guideline interviews with political, social and economic actors, in-depth interviews with political brokers and their socio-professional networks, and interviews with farmers and traders with a history of involvement in the illicit drug economy at some stage in their lives. Ninety-five interviews using a question / topic list were carried out by the Organization for Sustainable Development and Research (OSDR).
