The World Atlas of Language Structures

The World Atlas of Language Structures (WALS) is a large database of structural (phonological, grammatical, lexical) properties of languages gathered from descriptive materials (such as reference grammars) by a team of 55 authors (many of them the leading authorities on the subject).《世界语言结构大百科》（WALS）系由55位作者（其中许多为该领域之权威学者）编纂而成的一项大型数据库，该数据库收集了来自描述性材料（如参考语法）的语言结构（语音学、语法、词汇）属性。
