Contextual Body Image Among Physically Active Young Adults

This repository contains the dataset, codebook, and survey instruments for the study on "Contextual Body Image Among Physically Active Young Adults". The data was collected to investigate how physically active individuals perceive their bodies across two different contexts: daily life and physical activity.The deposited files include:Dataset: Contains raw survey responses from participants. The data covers basic sociodemographics (gender, age, weight, height, BMI), details regarding their training routines (physical activity type, weekly sessions, and duration), and comprehensive body image self-assessments.Codebook: A detailed data dictionary providing parameter names (in Polish and English), abbreviations, units, and descriptions for all variables included in the dataset.Questionnaires: The survey forms used in the study, provided in both Polish (the administered version) and English (for international reference).Key Measures: The body image variables are based on a cross-cultural adaptation of the Contextual Body Image Questionnaire for Athletes (CBIQA) for physically active Polish adults.
