Number of medical errors reported to JQ Japan 2014-2023, by report type

In 2023, a total of 6.07 thousand medical errors were reported to the Japan Council for Quality Health Care (JQ). Approximately 5.18 thousand cases of which were submitted by medical facilities that were registered in JQ's database and subject to reporting requirements. About 887 cases were from medical facilities which voluntarily submitted the reports. Designated by the health ministry in the country, JQ conducts various third-party evaluations of healthcare institutions and provides a database of medical adverse events and near-miss events with the aim of improving the healthcare system in Japan.

于2023年，总计6.07千起的医疗失误报告提交给了日本医疗质量保健委员会（JQ）。其中约5.18千起病例由已在JQ数据库注册并受报告义务约束的医疗机构提交。另有约887起病例来自自愿提交报告的医疗机构。由该国卫生部指定的JQ负责对医疗保健机构进行各种第三方评估，并构建医疗不良事件及近乎事故事件的数据库，旨在提升日本的医疗保健体系。
