The D. pseudoobscura reference sequence (Refseq) genome is provided by NCBI using WGS sequence and assembly instructions provided by the Human Genome Sequencing Center at Baylor College of Medicine. Chromosomes 2 and 3 are represented by single ultra-scaffolds (NC_009005 and NC_009006), whereas the chromosome XL, XR, and 4 assemblies are currently composed of 4, 4, and 5 scaffolds, respectively (NW_001589954-NW_001589966).
