资源简介:
This study establishes C. feli as the predominant flea species infesting dogs across Hainan, China. Metagenomic analysis revealed a diverse yet functionally conserved microbial community carrying notable zoonotic pathogens, including R. felis, K. pneumoniae, and P. aeruginosa, with functional profiles predominantly linked to metabolic and human disease pathways. These findings highlight the public health threat posed by flea-borne pathogens in tropical regions and support the development of targeted control strategies.
