资源简介:
This data set reports on average basic density measurements carried on 54589 increment cores sampled during two consecutive years (2016-2017) by the French NFI within the XyloDensMap project (Leban et al., 2016. This data set is used for the PhD work of Baptiste Kerfriden and for the publications from his Ph.D. work: • for each tree, one core •Two different types of increment cores were sampled: • The AGE cores (from the bark to the pith) sampled for the measurement of the annual increments of the last five rings and of the age of the dominant trees of each NFI plot. • The EXTERNAL cores (average length of 6 cm) sampled for the measurement of the annual increments of the last five rings. At INRAE, we measured a wood density profile all along with each core, one measurement each 0.625 mm. We then calculated for each tree the arithmetic mean of the BASIC DENSITY (BD). The following variables are displayed on three different sheets of the excel file Variables; BD: basic density (kg/m3); SD-BD: standard deviation (kg/m3); Sheet “BASIC DENSITY GLOBAL” 125 specie, 54589 cores. For each species, all the cores (AGE INCREMENT) were grouped together for computing the arithmetic mean of basic density ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- References ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jacquin, P., Mothe, F., Longuetaud, F., Billard, A., Kerfriden, B., Leban, J.-M.
