This dataset includes compositions of major elements (measured by EPMA) and trace elements (measured by LA-ICP-MS) of small-sized glass beads from Chang'e-5 lunar soil. This dataset is supporting document for the manuscript entitled as "Compositional heterogeneity of small-sized glass beads from Chang'e-5 lunar soil" submitted to Journal of Petrology. Over 50 spheres of glass beads from the Chang’e-5 lunar soil, mostly smaller than 50 μm in diameter, were investigated for micro-texture and chemical composition, revealing significant diversity.
本数据集涵盖嫦娥五号月壤中小型玻璃珠的主量元素与微量元素组成数据,其中主量元素通过电子探针显微分析(Electron Probe Microanalysis,EPMA)测定,微量元素通过激光剥蚀电感耦合等离子体质谱(Laser Ablation Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry,LA-ICP-MS)测定。本数据集为提交至《岩石学杂志》(Journal of Petrology)、题为《嫦娥五号月壤小型玻璃珠的成分异质性》(Compositional heterogeneity of small-sized glass beads from Chang'e-5 lunar soil)的研究手稿提供支撑材料。本次研究对嫦娥五号月壤中50余颗直径多小于50微米的玻璃珠开展了显微结构与化学成分分析,结果揭示出其显著的成分多样性。
