Data for "Adoption and Adaptation: A Computational Case Study of the Spread of Granovetter’s Weak Ties Hypothesis"

This database provides the data used for a study into the spread and use of Granovetter's 1972 paper on "the strength of weak ties". This dataset contains metadata of publications and authors referencing Granovetter (1972) before november 2017 that were available at the Web of Science. The dataset is a database in the format of a .backup file, that can restored using PostgreSQL database.
