Assembled file of spring annual averages of abundance of selected euphausiids from the Southern California region, 1951 - 2011.

Derived dataset of spring annual averages of abundance of sentinel euphausiid species (Euphausia pacifica, Nyctiphanes simplex and Nematoscelis difficilis) since 1951 (ongoing). Zooplankton are collected in net tows and enumerated by major taxa from spring CalCOFI cruises (lines 80-93, inclusive of stations from shore out to station 70). Original data are from the zooplankton dataspace, specifically the Brinton-Townsend Euphausiid Database.

本数据集为1951年至今（持续更新）的3种标志性磷虾物种的春季丰度年度平均值，涉及物种包括太平洋磷虾（Euphausia pacifica）、辛氏夜樱虾（Nyctiphanes simplex）以及难纺缍磷虾（Nematoscelis difficilis）。数据采集自春季加州合作渔业调查（CalCOFI）航次，通过浮游生物拖网采集浮游动物样本，并按主要类群进行分类计数；采样航线覆盖80至93号航线，包含从近岸至70号站位的全部站点。原始数据源自浮游动物数据空间，具体为布林顿-汤森德磷虾数据库（Brinton-Townsend Euphausiid Database）。
