This is the data from the paper "Submovements in manual tracking: People with Parkinson's disease produce more submovements than age-matched controls" by Noy et al., 2025, published in the Journal of NeuroEngineering and Rehabilitation
The folder "results" contains the raw data collected from the tablet (the .csv files) where column 1 is the x (left-right) data analyzed in the paper. Column 6 contains the time.
The folder "stimuli" contains the stimuli (which were shown at 60 Hz), 1 line per frame. Each line describes the x-y position of the ellipse
The .mat files contain the processed data:
tablet_pixels.mat contains the resampled data and stimuli
registrationTablet.mat contains the registration (to match the data to the stimuli, used for the error calculations)
ampfreq.mat contains the error measures, by subject / trial
To run the matlab files:
first run startup.m
Then, the matlab file makeMirrorGameGraphs.m generates the graphs from the paper
The matlab file allsubjects.m loads the raw experimental data
