Flowering species specific abundance counts proximal to shrub Dodonea viscosa

In exploration of the potential effects of the shrub Dodonea viscosa on surrounding flowering plant species, the size of the shrub, soil temperature, species present and their abundances were recorded. A transect tape measured three distances of 1m, 3m, and 5m where the quadrat was placed and soil temperature recorded. Flowering species present and their abudnances within the quadrat were a representative sample of each distance. A total of 39 shurbs were recorded and chosen via a random number generator.

为探究车桑子（Dodonea viscosa）对周边开花植物物种的潜在影响，本研究记录了该灌木的植株大小、土壤温度、样地内现存物种及其多度。研究采用样带卷尺设置1m、3m、5m三个距离梯度，在每个梯度位置布设样方（quadrat）并记录对应位点的土壤温度；样方内的现存开花植物物种及其多度，可作为对应距离梯度下群落特征的代表性样本。本研究共通过随机数生成器筛选并记录了39株灌木。
