Topics covered in this survey are wrapping bread before it leaves the bakery, decimal coin design, bikini swimsuits, Government aid for science teaching facilities at church schools, union of Roman Catholic and Protestant churches, election speeches on television, Federal vs State control of airlines, need for an ombudsman, relationships between Indonesia and Malaysia, and entry of Communist China to United Nations. Standard variables are vehicle and telephone ownership, occupation, economic classification, vote intention for Senate election, number of Senate voters in household, vote at last Federal election, age, sex, religion, whether respondent is generally at home or out on weekends at about the time of the present interview, and interviewer assessment whether respondent born in Australia or is a migrant.
