Dry Zone Value Chain Off-Farm Value Chain Surveys: Mills Component

This data set contains information on 182 oil mills in the Magway, Sagaing and Mandalay regions of Myanmar’s central Dry Zone. Of these mills, 144 are from 5 urban centers (Magway, Pakkoku, Monywa, Shwebo and Mandalay) and 38 are rural. The data contains information on asset ownership and acquisition, human capital, business history, source of investment capital, employment, seasonality, costs and returns, product and service assortment, historical trade volumes, and location of customers and suppliers.
