Leptospira kirschneri (3/38) and Leptospira weilii(4/23) in the NCBI database is limited. Sequencing the entire Leptospira genome and conducting thorough analysis of the data can significantly enhance the ability to predict and respond to outbreaks more quickly. Whole genome sequencing proves particularly valuable in the molecular epidemiology of infections, particularly during outbreaks, by improving efficiency and accuracy.
• Researchers studying leptospirosis can benefit from this data by utilizing it in their studies related to vaccine development and uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying pathogenesis in leptospirosis.
