Global 500 m desertification-risk datasets and long-term NDVI trend maps for global drylands. This archive contains two global Kendall's τ vegetation trend datasets (1982–2025 and 2000–2025) derived from harmonized satellite NDVI records, together with two corresponding percentile-based desertification-risk products generated by integrating vegetation trends, aridity, and human pressure into a continuous global risk index. All datasets are provided as GeoTIFFs at 500 m spatial resolution for global drylands.
