The purpose of this study is to identify alleles in F2 progenies that segregate with the parental coat color (black or white) from genetic crosses between AKR/J (white) x C57BL/6J (black) mice. The alleles identified from this experiemnt will be examined for methylation and chromatin analysis of brain DNA to investigate links between brain aging and coat color in mice.
