Node catchment for Galilee surface water modelling

## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from multiple source datasets. The source datasets are identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement.\n\nThe processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement. \n\n\n\nContributing areas (residual catchments) for 61 node catchments in the Galilee subregion.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nNode locations were snapped to GA DEM 9s derived flow accumulation lines representing their respective rivers. ArcGIS WATERSHED tool was run on the GA 9s flow direction raster using the snapped node locations as pour points to produce catchments areas for the nodes. 本数据集涵盖嘉利德次区域（Galilee subregion）内61个节点集水区的贡献区域（残余集水区，residual catchments）。

**数据集历史**

首先将节点坐标匹配至澳大利亚地球科学局（Geoscience Australia, GA）9秒分辨率数字高程模型（Digital Elevation Model, DEM）衍生的汇流累积线，以对应其所属河流。使用匹配后的节点坐标作为出水口点，基于GA 9秒流向栅格运行ArcGIS水文分析工具（WATERSHED工具），生成各节点对应的集水区范围。将栅格输出转换为矢量多边形形状文件（shapefile），以勾画节点集水区的边界范围。
