Validation of the S.T.O.N.E. Score for Predicting Stone-Free Rate in Patients with Ureteral Stones Undergoing Semirigid Pneumatic Ureteral Lithotripsy

We conducted a retrospective study of 266 patients with ureteral stones who underwent ULT at IBB University Hospitals in Yemen, between April 2021 and September 2023. The S.T.O.N.E. score was calculated based on factors obtained from preoperative non-contrast computed tomography scans. A nomogram was created to predict the likelihood of SFR failure post-ULT.

本研究为一项回顾性研究，纳入2021年4月至2023年9月期间，于也门伊卜（IBB）大学医院接受输尿管镜碎石术（ULT）的266例输尿管结石患者。研究基于术前非增强计算机断层扫描（computed tomography）获取的相关因素计算S.T.O.N.E.评分，并构建列线图以预测输尿管镜碎石术后结石清除率（Stone Free Rate，SFR）失败的风险。
