Radiosonde temperature and humidity profiles taken at Summit Station, Greenland, 2023

This data set contains profiles of temperature and humidity observed by Vaisala radiosondes that are launched nominally twice daily at Summit Station, Greenland as part of the Integrated Characterization of Energy, Clouds, Atmospheric state, and Precipitation at Summit (ICECAPS) Project and its follow-on projects ICECAPS-ACE and ICECAPS-MELT. These radiosonde measurements did not initially contain wind tracking information, but transitioned towards including wind tracking in one sonde per data starting in 7/2011, then moving to twice-daily wind sondes in 6/2014. Starting around 2020 the radiosonde program has periodically dropped to one sounding per day, with some periods of no soundings per day, based on funding limitations. The data are processed using the standard Vaisala processing software. Detailed information on these parameters and other aspects of the dataset are included in the netCDF header information for each file.

本数据集收录维萨拉（Vaisala）无线电探空仪获取的温湿度垂直廓线观测数据，此类探空仪作为格陵兰顶峰站能量、云、大气状态与降水综合表征（Integrated Characterization of Energy, Clouds, Atmospheric state, and Precipitation at Summit，简称ICECAPS）项目及其后续项目ICECAPS-ACE、ICECAPS-MELT的组成部分，常规每日在格陵兰顶峰站发射两次。该批探空观测初期未包含风场追踪信息，2011年7月起逐步改为每份观测数据纳入1个带风场追踪的探空仪结果，最终于2014年6月全面切换为每日两次的风场探空观测。约2020年起，受经费制约，探空观测计划不定期缩减为每日1次，部分时段甚至每日无探空观测。所有数据均采用维萨拉标准处理软件完成后处理。本数据集各参数及其他相关细节均收录于每份文件的netCDF（网络通用数据格式）文件头信息中。
